JCL is the scripting language available on IBM mainframe and it is different between VSE and MVS. It can be replaced using standard Windows Script Host (WSH) scripts. To reproduce those mainframe functionalities missing in the WSH, XFRAME provides a small set of scripting functions to embed in the WSH scripts.

All the samples in the following pages are written in WSH.
