HTWC News - March 2011
REVISITING OUR "GERMAN ROOTS"

HTWC's origins in IT platform modernization can be traced back to the late 1970's where a team Siemens' Engineers lead out of Munich, Germany were tasked with the modernization of legacy Applications written in Assembler, and hosted upon BS2000 Mainframe systems.

Owing to the vision of this team, a management buy-out followed, and over the years resulted in the development of one of the most comprehensive Mainframe modernization suites available on the market today. Applying the engineering disciplines which characterize the "Made in Germany" logo, whilst applying the agility and creativity which typify Italian products, the HTWC suite is built to suit a vast array of environments and strategies

Today, HTWC boasts a portfolio of 300 clients, 60 of which opted to completely economize their mission critical legacy applications by running these upon open systems using XFRAME as a complete emulator of the Mainframe environment in which they were built.

Client centric approach
Typically our solutions are custom engineered based upon the requirements of our clients, their current environment and target environment, and aligned with their IT strategies. Together with the client or partner solution architects, we overlay their solution concept on our extensive, ready-made solution stack, designing the optimal middleware, and creating a gateway suitable for a myriad of IT strategies.

Sector agnostic
HTWC
has modernized Mainframe platforms for major organizations throughout Germany. We started out with the German paharmceutical sector, and expanded into the finance, public service and industrial sectors, thus creating a large base of clients and partners throughout Germany.

Back to our roots
Cementing and expanding our position upon the German speaking region, HTWC has engaged the services of Mainframe stalwarts in the areas of solution consultation and technical delivery. This demonstrates HTWC's dedication to one of its traditional market places, and the potential inherent within Mainframe shops throughout the region.
